For today’s mission, a request came in to use a Microsoft Form to receive training log submissions. Every team member is responsible for submitting their logs and time is measured in quarter hour increments.
The big ask? Can the dropdown values span from 0.25 to 40? Yes, but typing that many options is needlessly time consuming and error prone:

Instead, use Microsoft Excel to populate the range. Start entering the first few values, to establish the pattern, then use the Fill Series feature to complete things. Copy and paste these values into the Forms‘ option box:

Bonus Tip:
The dropdown has a lot of options, so now the Form has a long scroll. Toggle and change this from a radio button field to a Drop-down view for a cleaner screen:

And with that, the Microsoft Form now has a dropdown with 100+ options. All populated in a few moments:

Conclusion:
Work efficiently and don’t manually populate content that can be pasted. Reduce time, effort, and the likelihood of error…
